This is a picture taken outdoors, I am guessing it was taken in a rural area during the day because the man was going into an airplane to get flight training. There is a man in this photo I'm guessing he was pretty young, maybe in his 20's, he is wearing saftety gear because he is getting training in how to fly. The first thing that catches my eye is the man and the fact that he is getting into an airplane. This is just training not a home or a buisness, and it is in pretty good condition if they have enough space to fly airplanes. The tone of the photograph is pretty light, it is positive because the man is being taught something that could help him fight for his country, this is a light picutre. I think that this is a very nice picture of the man about to learn how to fly. I think that the lighting could have been better but over all it was a very nice picture. Two questions I would ask the photographer of this picture are why was the man learning how to fly a plane? and where is he learning to fly, is he in the city? the rural areas?

This is an outdoor photograph with fairly good lighting in a rural area during the day time. No one is in this picture, instead there is a tree with a house on top of it and there are no branches. There is also a tree with a bench. I see alot of free land. The first thing that caught my eye was the tree with no branches and the house on top of it. I am guessing that this is a home, in nice condition because the land is very nice and it looks as if it belongs to a wealthy family. There is a lot of space in this picture but it is all open land and you can see for miles across the land. This is a very light photograph, it is very peaceful and relaxing which also makes it a positive photo. My reaction to these questions is I think that this was very good photograph and that it was probably a home that did not really become affected by the Great Depression. Two questions that i would ask the photographer are where is this picture taken, is it a home? or a farm? or a buisness? I would also like to know if the property belonged to a wealthy person.

Four men are talking to each other, some are older men and some look fairly young,they are wearing pants and shoes with a sweater and a hat, and a quarter sleeve shirt, and overalls. They are African American men, the first thing that caught my eye was the fact that there are bars on the window. This photograph is taken at a buisness, outside of a store, in fairly good condition,there is not a lot of space, there is nothing that is surrounding the men, at least not that I can see. This is a light photograph and it seems positive. It seems positive because the men are all conversing which means that they are getting along. I think that this is a very good picture because it makes me wonder why there are bars on the windows. Two questions I would ask the photographer are, what are the men talking about, where are they talking? and why are there bars on the windows?

This photo was taken outside during the day. This photo is taken at a train station where people are waiting to take the train. The guy is looking down at some type of signs. There is a couple of other people in the background, but there's only 1 guy that stands out. This guy looks like he is in his late 40's. The photo is light but it looks like an overall positive picture. There's nothing bad going on. One thing that caught my eye about this photo was the sign on the top that says "colored waiting room".

This photo looks like its daytime and it is taken outside at a water fountain. The lighting in this photo is good. There are no poeple in this photo, but the one thing that catches my eye is the sign that says "white". This lets us know that only white people could use this fountain and I think that is wrong. This picture looks like its just on a random sidewalk. This photo is positive because theres nothing going on, its just mainly focused on the white sign.

One guy looks like he's in his early 60's and another guy looks like he's in his late 40's. I am not able to see the other guy's faces. What catches my eye is that the sign on the top says "the best service for colored only". This photo is taken outside of a business. The space is pretty open. The photo is positive. There's nothing bad going on.
